E-glass isolation rope / Supplied per 30 meter roll

E Glass Rope lagging is manufactured from a low density blown glass fibrecore partially enclosed in a braided cover of filament glass yarn.
Extra soft and pliable, inorganic, sterile and incombustible.
They are resistant to oils, solvents and most chemicals and have a low level of leachable chlorides and fluorides.
Suitable for temperatures up to 550˚C and have low thermal conductivity.
Excellent thermal insulation.
Excellent asbestos replacement.
Will not rot or release fumes.
Very resilient with good space filling properties.

Suitable Applications

Particularly suitable for forming into insulation ‘o’ rings and seals on industrial and domestic heating appliances.
Provides an efficient method for insulating pipework and is also suitable for a variety of high temperature sealing and caulking applications.
Filler for tadpole tapes.
