The Heat Shieldings insulation tape is manufactured from woven glass fiber which is provided with a heat-reflecting aluminum layer on one side. The insulation tape is heat resistant up to 550 ° C and very suitable for quickly protecting a pipe, tube or component against extreme heat. The reflection layer prevents a lot of radiant heat from being absorbed, the underlying glass fiber insulation layer does the rest! This product can also be combined with an additional underlying fiberglass insulation layer.
