This heat resistant sealing rope with a diameter of 10 mm is suitable for sealing wood burning stoves, pellet stoves, fireplace inserts and flue connections. The sealing rope consists of a round knitted E glass fibre core surrounded by a finely braided E glass fibre sleeve. The smooth outer braid provides a neat finish, helps reduce loose fibres and supports an effective seal against flue gas leakage and heat loss. The rope remains flexible and is temperature resistant up to 550 °C.

Installation instructions
• Completely remove the old sealing rope and any remaining adhesive
• Thoroughly clean and degrease the installation surface
• Cut the sealing rope to the required length using suitable scissors or a suitable knife
• Apply a suitable heat resistant stove rope adhesive evenly to the installation area
• Press the sealing rope firmly and evenly into the adhesive
• Allow the adhesive to cure fully in accordance with the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions
• Before use, check that the sealing rope is securely fixed along its entire length
• This product contains glass fibres. Read the applicable safety instructions before installation and use suitable protective equipment when handling the rope
