Product Description

This product combines high-performance sound insulation with robust protection against external influences. The black PU top layer protects the foam from moisture, oil, and dirt, making it suitable for use in high-temperature environments.

• Material: Polyether foam (24–26 kg/m³)
• Top layer: PU, heat resistant up to 180°C
• Adhesive: PES/PVA scrim, temperature resistant from -40°C to 160°C
• Fire rating: FMVSS 302 (max. 100 mm/min)

This combination extends the product’s service life and makes it suitable for demanding environments.

Applications

Thanks to its protective features, this foam is ideal for sound insulation in:

• Machine rooms
• Engine compartments (maintain min. 10 cm distance from hot components)
• Equipment enclosures
• Humid or temperature-variable spaces

Tip: For heavy-duty diesel engines, we recommend the 40 or 50 mm version.

Installation Instructions

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry and grease-free.
• Press the foam firmly for optimal adhesion.
• For added protection, seal edges with aluminium tape.
