100 x 100 cm | 5 mm | CARBOMAT - Heat-resistant carbon fiber felt

CARBOMAT is a flexible felt made of 100% carbon fibers, completely free of binders. Its extremely high carbon content makes it non-combustible, lightweight, and easy to cut. It is ideal as a heat-resistant insulation layer or protection against sparks, flames, and splashes.

● Thickness: approximately 5 mm (tolerance ± 10%)
● Weight: approximately 500 g/m² (tolerance ± 10%)
● Thermal conductivity: 0.033 W/(m·K) at 50 °C
● Temperature resistance (direct contact): up to 250 °C
● Point heat resistance: > 1000 °C (sparks, molten metal)
● Material: 100% carbon fibers, non-conductive
● Supplied on rolls of 100 cm width
● Optional: hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment

Installation instructions

● Cut to size using scissors or a utility knife
● Apply using heat-resistant spray adhesive
● Clean and degrease the surface beforehand
● Press the felt firmly for proper adhesion
● Allow adhesive to fully cure before heat exposure
