The Absor-B heat and sound insulation mat has been developed to efficiently dampen unwanted noise. The flexible butyl rubber composition makes it easy to shape without heating. The low thermal conductivity coefficient (0.25 W/m.k) of the material, and the aluminum top layer, will also contribute very efficiently to thermal insulation of the vehicle.

Absor-B remains flexible in all weather conditions (hot or cold, damp or dry). As a result, it absorbs these resonances many times better than, for example, bitumen damping materials that harden and therefore hardly absorb the vibrations. Due to its flexible composition, it is optimally suitable for uneven surfaces. Using this product in combination with a layer of Absor-B foam creates a sandwich that has optimal damping and absorbing properties over a wide frequency range.
