This exhaust wrap with vermiculite coating is a heat-resistant insulation tape specifically designed for applications around exhaust systems and other high-temperature pipes. The wrap consists of a strong fiberglass structure coated with a protective vermiculite layer. This combination provides excellent thermal insulation, high mechanical strength and long service life under extreme temperatures.

The vermiculite coating forms an additional protective layer around the fiberglass structure. Vermiculite is a natural mineral that expands when heated and forms a structure with microscopic air chambers. These air chambers act as an insulator because still air conducts heat poorly. This significantly reduces heat transfer and creates a reliable thermal barrier.

Installation instructions

• Ensure the surface is clean and dry

• Start at one end and work evenly toward the other side
• Secure the wrap using stainless steel cable ties
• After installation, check that the wrap is properly secured along the entire surface
