Siderise Aquafon 5GF insulation board kit 25 mm is a high performance acoustic solution for engine rooms, technical spaces and industrial motor rooms. The system is suitable for recreational craft up to 24 metres and is also widely used in industrial engine rooms and generator enclosures. This flexible acoustic barrier is designed to effectively reduce engine noise transmission and improve comfort and safety in adjacent areas. Thanks to its multilayer composite construction with a reinforced aluminium facing, Aquafon combines excellent sound insulation with high fire performance and resistance to moisture, oil and fuel.

Installation Instructions

● Measure the surface accurately and mark cutting lines
● Cut the board to size using a sharp knife
● Position the board against the bulkhead or surface
● Secure with supplied insulation pins approx. 100 mm from the edge
● Press the board onto the pins and apply retaining clips
● Bend fixing pins over and trim excess metal
● Cover fixing points with aluminium foil tape
● Seal all exposed edges and joints completely with foil tape
