The exhaust insulation sleeve made from braided E-glass fiberglass is designed to effectively insulate hot exhaust parts. The sleeve is flexible and expandable, making it easy to slide over flanges, bends and flexible exhaust sections. Its insulating effect helps reduce radiant heat from the exhaust and provides better protection for surrounding components against heat. This insulation sleeve is suitable for cars, motorcycles, boats and industrial applications.

Installation instructions

• First measure the length of the exhaust part that needs to be insulated
• Cut the insulation sleeve at least 30 cm longer than the measured exhaust length
• Allow extra length for folding over the ends
• Keep in mind that the sleeve becomes shorter as it is expanded further
• Fold over the ends for a neat and secure finish
• Carefully slide the insulation sleeve over the exhaust part
• Secure the ends with stainless steel tie clamps or heat-resistant wire
• Place the fastening around the folded section
• When using multiple pieces, allow the ends to overlap
• With an overlap, the end of the lower sleeve does not need to be folded over
• Preferably install the insulation sleeve in a dry environment
