Flat fiberglass sealing cord

Fiberglass sealing rope is used across various industrial environments to reliably seal, insulate, and protect equipment exposed to high temperatures. The braided fiberglass construction provides heat resistance up to approximately 550°C, making it suitable for continuous use in demanding thermal processes.

Typical applications include sealing furnace doors, industrial heating systems, heat recovery units, inspection hatches, and fire-resistant structures. The rope is also used to compensate for thermal expansion and to seal joints and connections in exhaust and flue gas systems.

For installations where speed is critical, versions with a self-adhesive backing are available. This simplifies mounting and is solvent- and halogen-free, ensuring safe and clean application in industrial environments.
